Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01: Shimla → Sangla
Arrival at Shimla. Freshen up can be arranged at own cost (if required).
Later, start your scenic journey towards Sangla Valley via Kufri, Rampur & Reckong Peo.
En-route sightseeing includes:
• Baspa River & Baspa Valley
• Kamru Fort
• Bering Nag Temple
Evening arrival at Sangla, a beautiful village nestled in Baspa Valley, famous for wooden houses, apple orchards & river views.
Overnight stay in Sangla.
Day 02: Sangla → Tabo via Chitkul & Nako
After breakfast, check out and proceed deeper into the Himalayas.
En-route sightseeing includes:
• Chitkul – India’s last inhabited village near Indo-Tibet border
• Karcham
• Nako Village
• Nako Lake & Monastery
Continue your drive to Spiti Valley and reach Tabo by evening.
Overnight stay in Tabo.
Day 03: Tabo → Kaza via Dhankar
After breakfast, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery (1000+ years old).
Later proceed towards Kaza via Dhankar.
En-route sightseeing includes:
• Dhankar Monastery & Fort
• Pin Valley (if weather & road conditions permit)
Evening arrival at Kaza – the capital of Spiti Valley.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 04: Kaza Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore Spiti’s iconic high-altitude villages:
• Langza – Giant Buddha statue & fossil site
• Hikkim – World’s highest post office
• Komic – Highest motorable village
• Key Monastery – Largest monastery in Spiti
• Chicham Bridge – One of Asia’s highest suspension bridges
Return to hotel by evening.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 05: Kaza → Kunzum Pass → Chandratal Lake
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass (15,000 ft).
Enjoy breathtaking mountain landscapes and changing colors of Chandratal – the Moon Lake of Spiti.
Experience peaceful surroundings and stargazing at night (subject to weather).
Overnight stay in Chandratal Camps.
Day 06: Chandratal → Manali via Atal Tunnel
Early morning departure from Chandratal.
Drive via Batal, Khoksar & Atal Tunnel.
En-route short tea break at Batal / Chatru.
Reach Manali by evening. Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Spiti Valley.
